Tiny Mech Arena is a free, early Windows prototype featuring six colorful robot heroes with distinct weapons and abilities.

• 1v1 duels, 3v3 teams, and free-for-all.
• Separate first-person and third-person queues.
• Six unlocked heroes: Bulwark, Boombox, Nova, Patch, Zip, and Glitch.

Play immediately

Download and extract the Windows ZIP. Open TinyMechArena.exe and choose TRAIN for an offline range with stationary targets. Keep the EXE and PCK files together.

Controls: WASD to move, mouse to aim, left click to fire, E for your ability, Space to dash, Escape for the menu.

Play with a friend

This prototype uses a player-hosted server. There is no public matchmaking server.

1. One player opens Start-Server.cmd and keeps the computer and server running.
2. On different networks, use Tailscale to connect privately and share the host computer with your friend. On the same local network, use the host computer's LAN address.
3. In SETUP, the host enters 127.0.0.1; friends enter the host's reachable address. Use UDP port 27840.
4. Choose the same mode and camera view, then FIND MATCH. Duels need 2 players, teams need 6, and free-for-all needs at least 2.

Three-minute rounds, respawns, and automatic rematches are included. Opening the menu does not pause an online match.

Prototype status

This download is Windows only. Android and iPhone builds are planned but not yet available. No purchases, paid upgrades, accounts, or public matchmaking service are enabled. Internet latency and physical mobile-device performance are still being evaluated.

Local validation included 24 gameplay checks and 13 independent network clients across isolated rooms. Code, interface text, procedural graphics, and procedural sounds were created with AI assistance.
